Manitoba Highways

PR 400-449

The Provincial Roads form the appendages to the higway grid. Ranging in calibre from high-quality 2-lane hard surface to low-maintenance 2 lane gravel, the PRs service most communities in Manitoba which are unserviced by PTH roads. They are secondary highways. The numbering of these roads tends to cluster a little more than does the numbering of PTH roads. When the province reduced the number of kilometres of roads for which it was responsible, it was the PR grid which had the biggest change. Coming: 403-449
