Hinduism goes pop
An article posted at Cranach about pop Hinduism. Is anyone surprised? When faith is wedded to pop culture, conversations about faith are bound to disintegrate into subjectivity. “This is true because fun = relevant.” “This is true because it changed my life.” “This is true because I can relate to it.” Result: the whole bloody thing goes out of style in a generation, when people can’t relate to it anymore and see it as a relic of their ignorant adolescence.
