"I'm taking it out to wherever it goes, then back to the station."

The bus is my world
In miniature
My world is a bus

I'm sure to meet a lot of people
Cast a few smiles, nods, glances
And maybe learn a little bit
About somebody, even me

No-one asks why I ride the bus
It's just my way of getting around
Sometimes I'd share my seat a while
But it's safer not to.
"One can never be too careful these days."

As we reach the station
To ride or not to ride
Not much of a question
I'm sure I will again
Although I'm not sure when...

The interchanges of days
Transfers of time
Shelters for thought
Season's passes

Leave me gazing out
Another dirty window
The rain
The snow
The clouds
The sun
